The Smokey Eye

This is one of the best 'styles' of eye makeup. It transforms your face dramatically, has a touch of class in some way but that's according to me. Having the correct smokey eye is tricky and it needs patience and experience to get it perfect.

Smokey eye doesn't have to be only black (though its the basic), you can get creative with colors like with the shade of green,blue and purple.

BASIC RULES FOR A SMOKEY EYE:

1)Brushes: You need the right makeup brushes for this. A simple makeup applicator will NOT not give you the desired results. (You can get brushes at super-cosmetic,the one at 20th century)

2)Eyeliner: A black eyeliner is very essential and preferably let it be a liquid eyeliner. Outline your whole eye and make it thicker at the ends.

3) Lighter to Dark: When you start applying the eye-shadow, starts from the lighter shades to the dark one as this makes the blending of the colors easier and also prevents you from using too much of the dark colors.

4)The Dark shadow: Dark shades should be used below the eye crease,so contour (mark) the eye crease line first so that you dont smudge the eye shawdow to the upper lid.

5)Mascara: Smokey eye is not complete without sexy lashes.curl your lashes first then apply mascara and you can add fake eye lashes if need be.
